1. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms:
- “Saloonat” refers to the Saloonat platform, its website, and any related mobile applications or services operated by our company.
- “Customer” refers to any individual using Saloonat’s platform to find and book salon services.
- “Salon” or “Salon Business” refers to a salon, spa, or related service provider that registers on Saloonat to list its services and manage appointments.
- “User” collectively refers to both Customers and Salons.
2. Eligibility
2.1 For Customers
You must be at least 18 years old or have obtained parental consent to use Saloonat. By using the platform, you represent and warrant that you have the right, authority, and capacity to enter into these Terms.
2.2 For Salons
Salon Businesses must hold valid licenses, permits, and registrations as required by the UAE laws and regulations. By registering as a Salon, you confirm that you are authorized to offer the listed services and have all necessary approvals and documentation.
3. Account Registration
3.1 Customer Accounts
Customers may browse services without an account, but booking appointments may require registration. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your account credentials secure.
3.2 Salon Accounts
Salons are required to create a business account, provide valid business details, upload necessary documents (e.g., trade licenses), and undergo a verification process before being visible to Customers. Salon accounts must maintain accurate information regarding their services, pricing, availability, and location.
4. Services and Bookings
4.1 Customer Responsibilities
As a Customer, you agree to:
- Review Salon information, services, and pricing before booking.
- Arrive on time for appointments or follow the Salon’s policies for cancellations or rescheduling.
- Provide honest and constructive reviews after receiving services.
4.2 Salon Responsibilities
As a Salon, you agree to:
- Accurately list your services, prices, and business details.
- Maintain updated availability and honor booked appointments unless unforeseen circumstances arise.
- Respond promptly to Customer inquiries and provide a high standard of care and professionalism.
4.3 Appointment Management
Saloonat provides an online booking system. However, Saloonat does not guarantee appointment availability. Customers are responsible for verifying their appointment times, and Salons are responsible for updating their schedules. Any disputes regarding bookings, cancellations, or punctuality must be resolved between the Salon and the Customer in accordance with the Salon’s policies and applicable laws.
4.3 Appointment Management
Saloonat provides an online booking system. However, Saloonat does not guarantee appointment availability. Customers are responsible for verifying their appointment times, and Salons are responsible for updating their schedules. Any disputes regarding bookings, cancellations, or punctuality must be resolved between the Salon and the Customer in accordance with the Salon’s policies and applicable laws.
5. Payments and Fees
Saloonat may offer payment processing services. Payment methods, fees, commissions, and currency will be outlined during the booking process. By using our platform, Salons agree to the commission rates and Customers agree to the displayed service prices. All financial transactions are subject to validation checks and may be refused for security reasons.
6. Reviews and Content
Customers may leave reviews and ratings for Salon services. Reviews must be honest, relevant, and not contain offensive or defamatory content. Saloonat reserves the right to remove or modify any content that violates these Terms, applicable laws, or our content guidelines.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, logos, and visuals on Saloonat (excluding User-generated content) are owned by or licensed to Saloonat. Users are not permitted to reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
Saloonat handles personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Please review our Privacy Policy for detailed information on how we collect, use, and protect personal data.
9. Termination
Saloonat may terminate or suspend your account at any time if you breach these Terms or if required by law. Users may also terminate their accounts by contacting Saloonat’s support. Termination does not affect any outstanding obligations or rights that arose prior to termination.
10. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
Saloonat is a marketplace platform. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of the services offered by Salons. We are not liable for any damages, losses, or disputes arising from the services provided by Salons or interactions between Customers and Salons.
Under no circumstances shall Saloonat be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for a disputed booking.
11. Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify and hold Saloonat, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, damages, or legal fees arising out of or related to the use of the platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and any disputes arising hereunder shall be governed by the laws of the UAE. Any legal action shall be brought before the courts of the UAE, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
13. Changes to the Terms
Saloonat may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be effective upon posting on our website. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
